I don't spend much time on You-Tube. It generally takes too long for each film to reach the point which supports the point, "The only problem with instant gratification is that it takes too long".

If a picture is worth a thousand words, it follows that a movie should be worth 24,000 words per second. But something gets lost in the math. While visually and emotionally rich, films are linear. You can't drill down or skim as you can with a blog post.

Here's an exception to THAT rule. It's a lecture by a Harvard neuro-scientists. It's science which borders on the mystic. She catches your attention from the very beginning. I believe also she supports the point (intended or not), that drugs actually impair the brain in some way. Her description of a stoke is so similar to what others attribute to and LSD experience. In any case, fascinating stuff. Video or not...
